Fondaction invests one million dollars in Equisoft’s growth and development
Montreal, Feb. 23, 2009 – Fondaction, the CSN’s development fund for cooperation and employment, is investing $1 million in EquiSoft, a company specialized in the design and development of digital business solutions to enhance the value of data and content.
Since 1994, EquiSoft has been developing solutions for medium and large enterprises primarily operating in the financial, media and entertainment sectors. Notably, the Company has developed software for the financial planning field, including financial calculators and financial illustration tools. In the communications sector, EquiSoft has developed a unique solution for managing copyright and royalties. It has also developed a subscription management system.
Fondaction’s investment will enable EquiSoft, a company located in Cité Multimédia de Montréal, to pursue the development of its software services and consulting, as well as accelerate its growth in Canada and elsewhere in the world.
With more than 250 projects completed, EquiSoft has built a solid reputation as a first-rate digital solutions supplier. The Company is able to meet its institutional clientele’s high standards for quality.
