Sales Consultant

Job description

EquiSoft is always searching for new talent! Reporting to Vice President of Insurance, the Sales Consultant is a key member of the sales team responsible for driving the technical sales strategy for EquiSoft’s products and services.  If you enjoy monitoring and analyzing sales data, suggesting new strategies, and a valued challenge, send us your resume!

A Day In Your Life

  • Discover prospective clients and new target segments
  • Provide pre-sales and sales services to potential and new clients, make use of each opportunity to discover and pursue additional business
  • Prepare and adapt demonstration presentations to clients’ needs
  • Develop and maintain client information records of key personnel, product usage and developing opportunities
  • Expand and maintain effective knowledge of markets, competition, products and strategies
  • Collaborate with the sales team in assuring territory performance, all sales activities, client satisfaction, execution of business plan
  • Develop common strategies with the sales team and ensure target attainment

Must-Haves

  • University Degree or Diploma in a relevant field
  • 2+ years proven experience as a sales consultant
  • Good knowledge of Web Technologies/Environment
  • Demonstrate ability to drive new sales
  • Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industries is a strong asset
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Proven presentation skills to a wide variety of audiences
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of French or Spanish is an asset
  • Position requires frequent travel
