Sophia Bennaceur is an accomplished executive with more than 20 years of experience in Operations, Finance and Information Technology. As the regional head and technology head of Morgan Stanley Montreal, her expertise is in leading strategy execution, operational processes, and financial performance. Throughout her career, Sophia has successfully conducted organization transformations, implemented efficient communication strategies and worked closely with business partners locally and abroad.
- Sophia joined Morgan Stanley in 2016 as the Chief Operating Officer for Montreal, overseeing all aspects of regional strategy execution and enabling the office’s remarkable growth.
- Formerly Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Societe Generale Canada.
- A strong supporter of diversity & inclusion and philanthropy, Sophia leads a marquee mentorship program for high-potential diverse employees across Technology & Operations at Morgan Stanley.
- Sophia graduated from HEC Paris with an MBA degree in 1994 and from Exeter University with an MA in Finance and Investment in 1989.
